Wolfgang Jellinghaus Torres 1A Modelo 114 Tarrega

Inclusief koffer.

The SE 114 Tarregas is based on the design of masterluthier Antonio de Torres (1817-1892). In the year 1888 Torres gained a new order from Tarrega. He started this task by making two 'Finas' (full sized guitars) to find out which sounded better. The FE 113 had a 2-piece back while the 114 was designed with a 3-piece back. The back and sides are made of 3-piece Pau Ferro. A woodtype that resembles the deep and full sound of rosewood.

The top is made of Swiss spruce which is also known as Stradivari Spruce. A very unique and special tonewood that gets harvested under very special circumstances under the moonlight. Many luthiers consider this wood to be one of the finest out there as it produces a wonderful resonance. Including case.
