 Our Acoustic Villa

All our acoustic guitars can be found in our villa. These are spread over 8 different rooms and we are happy to show them here!

European Room

As the name suggests, in this room you will find guitars by European builders. Think of Lowden, Lakewood, BSG, and McNally

American & Boutique Room

Besides a European room, we also have a room dedicated to guitars coming from outside Europe. Besides guitars from major brands such as Santa Cruz, Collings, and Bourgeois, you will also find boutique brands like Thompson and Kevin Ryan

Essential Value & Lefty Room

Looking for a guitar on a slightly smaller budget? Then take a look in our Essential Value room! Here you will find high-quality guitars from brands such as Eastman and Furch with stunning value for money.

We also always have a wide selection of left-handed guitars in the shop and they also hang in this room.

Folk & Bluegrass Room

Besides six-string western guitars, you can also come to us for other stringed instruments!

In our Folk room, you can find a diverse range of mandolins, banjos, resonators, and Gypsy Jazz  guitars.

 Classical Room

The  classical and flamenco  guitarist has has ample choice in our Classical room. We sell guitars from high-end brands including Bernabé, Jellinghaus, and Ramirez

You can also try out our crossover models here.

The Electric Guitar & Bass Shop

From the Acoustic Villa, you can walk right into our Electric Guitar shop. With a ‘58 Chevy Del Ray as a showpiece in the middle of the shop, the walls here are full of electric solidbody and hollowbody  guitars!

Are you looking for the beloved models of Fender and Gretsch, or do you prefer the modern and sleek character of a PRS or Suhr? In our test rooms, you can try them all out.

Are 4 strings enough for you? Then we have a nice selection of bass guitars waiting for you! Some of our brands: Sandberg, Music Man, and Sadowsky

On the way to the checkout, complete your purchase with your favourite set strings, a matching strap, or some of our own merchandise!

The Vault

Before we moved to Dedemsvaart, the building served as a bank. The large vault installed then is still there today and is part of our shop!

We have transformed this vault into an extra room containing the most exclusive and special guitars. Here, for example, you might come across a 1959 Gibson ES335, a 1940s Martin D18 or the most luxurious PRS Private Stock.

For those looking for the showpiece for his or her collection, the guitar you have been dreaming of for years, or simply want to see such special instruments in real life, enter our vault!

Our Workshop

To ensure the best quality of our instruments, we have our own workshop. With a team of experienced and skilled luthiers, we make sure your guitar is in optimal condition.

Besides our Gold Standard setup that every guitar gets before shipping, our luthiers also work on repairs and fitting pickups. Furthermore, as the only shop in the Netherlands, we can offer the ultra-precise precision of a PLEK machine

How to get to TFOA?

Our shop is located in the east of the country, in the cosy town of Dedemsvaart. From Amsterdam, you can reach Guitar Villa by car in 1 hour and 45 minutes, from Rotterdam with 2 hours, and if you come from Groningen or Friesland, you'll find yourself among our guitars after just an hour's drive. We also often receive guitar aficionados from Germany and Belgium and we hear that it's always worth the trip! The coffee is ready!

Car & Bus

The shop is best reached via the A28 motorway. Take exit 22 towards Nieuwleusen and continue on the N377 until you arrive in Dedemsvaart! There are plenty of free parking spaces on our premises, including 2 charging stations.

The nearest bus stop is Hazelaar. Bus routes 129 from Coevorden and 301 from Nunspeet stop here.

Accessibility

Our property is accessible to everyone. If you have difficulty walking or are bound to a wheelchair, you can use the lift that allows you to reach every floor of the villa. We will of course be happy to help you!

The Region & Accommodation

Spending a whole day browsing around a big guitar villa sounds like music to our ears, but your partner or family might not be as enthusiastic. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in the region and there are even overnight options to make it a fun outing for everyone!

There are beautiful walking and cycling routes in the surroundings of Dedemsvaart and the river De Vecht flows through the nearby towns of Ommen and Hardenberg. A 15-minute drive from our shop is Slagharen amusement park. Spend a morning trying out guitars, have lunch at our lunchroom Dina's and then on to the amusement park, which promises to be a successful day!

And if a day is not enough, make it a weekend or several days! There are plenty of accommodation options in the region, and we tip these three:
