Strymon heeft zijn serie compacte pedalen een update gegeven! Zo zijn de pedalen uitgebreid met nieuwe functies, MIDI-implementatie via USB-C, een mono/stereo-schakelaar voor de input, een nieuwe JFET-preamp en een geüpgrade processor.
El Capistan biedt drie verschillende tape machines in één, elk met drie unieke modes. Met 10 verschillende parameters om te tweaken krijg je een uitgebreide controle over de tape kwaliteit, machine health en tone shaping. Omdat het pedaal DSP gedreven is heb je haast oneindig veel mogelijkheden. En dit alles zonder het gedoe met echte tape machines!
De Strymon El Capistan V2 beschikt nu over een Spring-knop waarmee het volume van de Spring Reverb te regelen is. Het pedaal is daarnaast nu ook volledig stereo.
