De Sadowsky MasterBuilt-instrumenten komen volgens Roger Sadowsky zo dicht mogelijk bij de instrumenten die hij zelf bouwt in zijn werkplaats in New York City. Zo beschikt deze 5-snarige bas over een Swamp essen body met snakewood bovenblad, met daarbij een geroosterde gevlamd esdoorn hals met een toets van eveneens snakewood.
De op maat gemaakte Sadowsky-pickups en voorversterker zorgen samen voor een veelzijdig, modern toonpalet dat alles aankan. Hij beschikt over een combinatie van de J-pickup in de hals en de MM-stijl humbucker in de brug. Het is echt de perfecte mix van helderheid en kracht. De Sadowsky 2-band boost-only voorversterker is op zichzelf iconisch en legendarisch geworden. De toonkwaliteiten passen perfect in de mix, ongeacht hoe de andere bedieningselementen zijn ingesteld.

According to Roger Sadowsky, the Sadowsky MasterBuilt instruments are as close as possible to the instruments he builds himself in his workshop in New York City. That's because he was personally involved in the entire development process of all designs, from the selection of tonewood combinations to the finishes and premium features. This 5-string bass has a Swamp ash body with a snakewood top, plus a roasted flamed maple neck with a snakewood fingerboard.
The custom Sadowsky pickups and preamp combine to create a versatile, modern tonal palette that can handle anything. It features a combination of the J pickup in the neck and the MM style humbucker in the bridge. It really is the perfect blend of clarity and power. The Sadowsky 2-band boost-only preamp has become iconic and legendary in its own right. The tonal qualities fit perfectly into the mix regardless of how the other controls are set.
