De legendarische artiest en veelgevraagde sessiegitarist Norman Blake heeft altijd de kracht en gevoeligheid van het originele dreadnought-ontwerp met 12 frets gewaardeerd. SCGC's prototype D-12 Model werd speciaal ontworpen om Normans speelstijl te ondersteunen, door extra helderheid en sustain toe te voegen voor een nauwkeurige reactie op het spel met een plectrum. Een gitaar met 12 vrijliggende frets creëert meer luchtvolume, wat zorgt voor een grotere amplitude en sustain.
De handmatig afgestemde X-bracing verhoogt de basrespons, terwijl de topvoicing en de klankgaten van 4-1/4 inch zorgen voor een uitstekende aanwezigheid in alle toonbereiken. Dit elimineert de neiging van de traditionele dreadnought naar boominess ten koste van middentonen en hoge tonen. De Mahonie zij- en achterkant dragen bij aan de helderheid en definitie van het complexe akoestische karakter van de gitaar. Legendary artist and first call session ace, Norman Blake, has long appreciated the power and sensitivity of the original dreadnought design with 12 frets clear of the body. SCGC's prototype D-12 Model was specifically designed to support Norman's playing style, adding extra brightness and sustain for precise response when playing with a pick. A guitar with 12 exposed frets creates more air volume, providing greater amplitude and sustain.
Hand-tuned X-bracing increases bass response, while top voicing and 4-1/4-inch tone holes ensure excellent presence in all tonal ranges. This eliminates the traditional dreadnought's tendency towards boominess at the expense of mids and treble. Mahogany sides and back contribute to the clarity and definition of the guitar's complex acoustic character. The D-12's huge volume, complexity and incredible sustain make it a truly inspiring partner on stage.
This 2021 Santa Cruz D12 has only light play marks on the pickguard and back of the body, but the guitar is otherwise hardly distinguishable from a new one. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in the original Ameritage hardshell case.

Diese 2021 Santa Cruz D12 hat nur leichte Spielspuren auf dem Schlagbrett und der Rückseite des Korpus, aber ansonsten ist die Gitarre kaum von einer neuen zu unterscheiden. Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass im original Ameritage-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
