De Modern Eagle V is een innovatief instrument dat veel muzikaliteit biedt voor zowel opname als live op het podium. Door gebruik te maken van twee humbuckers met coilsplit met daartussen een single coil biedt de Modern Eagle V spelers een breed scala aan tonen in één gitaar.
De 5-wegschakelaar selecteert de pickups in intuïtieve groeperingen: treble, treble en midden, midden, midden en bas, en bas. Er is een enkele volume- en een push/pull-toonregeling die beide humbuckers activeert wanneer ze zijn ingeschakeld; hierdoor hebben spelers tegelijkertijd toegang tot de drie pickups samen. Tenslotte kunnen spelers met de mini-toggles de humbucker-spoelen individueel scheiden. Dit elektronische ontwerp brengt een hele reeks klassieke en nieuwe tonen binnen handbereik.
Deze PRS Modern Eagle is onderdeel van de Wood Library-serie, en is daarom uitgerust met enkele afwijkende kenmerken ten opzichte van het reguliere model. De gitaar is uitgerust met een toets en kopplaat van Afrikaans Blackwood, en de kenmerkende inleg op de toets is uitgevoerd in spectaculair sparkle abalone. Verder beschikt de gitaar over een 10 top van gevlamd esdoorn, een mahonie hals met pattern-profiel, en uiteraard de betrouwbare brug en stemmechanieken van PRS zelf.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.

The Modern Eagle V is an innovative instrument that offers great musicality for both recording and live on stage. Using two coil-split humbuckers with a single coil in between, the Modern Eagle V offers players a wide range of tones in one guitar.
The 5-way switch selects the pickups in intuitive groupings: treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, and bass. There is a single volume and push/pull tone control that activates both humbuckers when switched on; this allows players to simultaneously access all three pickups together. Finally, mini-toggles allow players to individually separate the humbucker coils. This electronic design puts a whole range of classic and new tones at your fingertips.
This PRS Modern Eagle is part of the Wood Library series, and is therefore equipped with some different features compared to the regular model. The guitar features a fingerboard and headstock plate made of African Blackwood, and the signature inlay on the fingerboard is done in spectacular sparkle abalone. Furthermore, the guitar features a 10 top of flamed maple, a pattern-profiled mahogany neck, and, of course, PRS' own reliable bridge and tuners.
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.

Die Modern Eagle V ist ein innovatives Instrument, das sowohl bei Aufnahmen als auch live auf der Bühne große Musikalität bietet. Die Modern Eagle V verwendet zwei Humbucker mit geteilter Spule und einer Single Coil dazwischen und bietet dem Spieler eine breite Palette an Sounds in einer Gitarre.
Der 5-Wege-Schalter wählt die Tonabnehmer in intuitiven Gruppierungen aus: Höhen, Höhen und Mitten, Mitten, Mitten und Bässe sowie Bässe. Es gibt einen einzigen Lautstärkeregler und einen Push/Pull-Tonregler, der beide Humbucker aktiviert, wenn er eingeschaltet ist; so können die Spieler gleichzeitig auf alle drei Tonabnehmer zugreifen. Mit Mini-Kippschaltern können die Spieler die Humbucker-Spulen einzeln trennen. Dieses elektronische Design ermöglicht eine ganze Reihe von klassischen und neuen Sounds.
Diese PRS Modern Eagle gehört zur Wood Library Serie und ist daher mit einigen anderen Features ausgestattet als das reguläre Modell. Die Gitarre hat ein Griffbrett und eine Kopfplatte aus afrikanischem Schwarzholz, und die Signature-Einlage auf dem Griffbrett ist aus spektakulär funkelndem Abalone gefertigt. Außerdem verfügt die Gitarre über eine 10 Top aus geflammtem Ahorn, einen profilierten Mahagoni-Hals und natürlich PRS' zuverlässige Brücke und Mechaniken.
Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
