Deze custom OM3 beschikt over een bovenblad van Sitka sparren en een klankkast van Indisch palissander, beide afgewerkt in glanzend Jet Black. Voor de detaillering is onder andere gekozen voor een ivoroid binding met 42-stijl abalone purfling, een rozet van abalone en een schitterend gedetailleerde Chevron backstrip. De perfecte afwerking van deze details valt daarbij direct op, en dit is dan ook de reden dat elke Collings met enthousiasme wordt begroet bij The Fellowship of Acoustics!
De mahonie hals biedt door zijn modified V-profiel en compound radius een ongeëvenaard comfort, waarbij zowel de akkoorden als het fingerstyle-spel moeiteloos gespeeld kunnen worden.
