De vorm van de Maybach Little Wing is een mix van een klassieke gitaar uit de vroege 19de eeuw en een Martin Parlor-gitaar uit 1867. Deze gitaar is 'aged', wat betekent dat hij een verouderd uiterlijk heeft gekregen. Dit zie je vooral aan de hardware craquelé lak maar alles is zeer miniem en smaakvol gedaan. De gesleufde kop met vintage style stemmechanieken maken het vintage plaatje helemaal compleet.
De semi-hollow constructie bestaat uit een mahonie body met gevlamd esdoorn bovenblad. Hierop vinden we onder andere een Tune-O-Matic brug, twee F-gaten, en Amber Spirit of '59 pickups. Hiermee biedt de Little Wing een scala aan geluiden, van zachte jazztonen tot blues en rock. Dit maakt van de Maybach Little Wing een echte kameleon qua veelzijdigheid.
De gitaar reist in een Maybach koffer met TFOA paspoort en echtheidscertificaat.
