Gibson L00 Special Satin Vintage Sunburst

​De nieuwe L00 Special wordt met vakmanschap gebouwd door Gibsons ervaren luthiers in Bozeman, Montana, en biedt spelers een in de VS gebouwde Gibson akoestische gitaar tegen een zeer toegankelijke prijs. Dit model heeft een klankkast van massief mahoniehout voor de achterkant en zijkanten, terwijl het bovenblad is gemaakt van massief Sitka-sparrenhout met traditioneel scalloped X-bracing. Dit zorgt voor een gebalanceerde klank met een uitstekende dynamische respons voor een compacte akoestische gitaar. Zowel de boven- als achterkant zijn afgewerkt met een enkele binding rondom de randen.

Dankzij de smallere taille van de L00 bodyvorm levert deze gitaar een gefocust en genuanceerd geluid, met een strakkere en subtielere basweergave die perfect in de mix past. De klank is ideaal voor fingerstyle en blues, maar werkt net zo goed voor andere genres en speelstijlen. De mahoniehouten hals is bevestigd met een compound dovetail verbinding en, zoals bij alle Gibson akoestische gitaren, gelijmd met hot hide glue. De hals heeft een comfortabel en snel bespeelbaar Slim Taper profiel, terwijl de toets van palissander een 12-inch radius heeft en is voorzien van eenvoudige parelmoeren dot-inlays en 19 standaard frets.

De gesloten rechthoekige brug van palissander is uitgerust met een TUSQ-zadel, terwijl de topkam en brugpinnen ook van TUSQ zijn gemaakt. De soepel draaiende Grover Mini Rotomatic stemmechanieken zorgen voor een solide stemstabiliteit. De L00 Special heeft een Satin Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose lakafwerking, en daarnaast is de gitaar voorzien van een L.R. Baggs Element Bronze actief piëzo-onderzadelpickup en een voorversterker met een eenvoudig toegankelijke volumeregeling in het klankgat, waardoor hij direct klaar is voor gebruik op het podium en in de studio. De gitaar wordt geleverd met een premium softshell case.

The new L00 Special is handcrafted by Gibson’s experienced luthiers in Bozeman, Montana, and offers players a USA-built Gibson acoustic guitar at a very accessible price. This model features solid mahogany back and sides, while the top is made of solid Sitka spruce with traditional scalloped X-bracing. This provides a balanced tone with excellent dynamic response for a compact acoustic guitar. Both the top and back are finished with a single binding around the edges.


The narrower waist of the L00 body shape gives this guitar a focused and nuanced sound, with a tighter and more subtle bass response that sits perfectly in the mix. The tone is ideal for fingerstyle and blues, but works just as well for other genres and playing styles. The mahogany neck is attached with a compound dovetail joint and, as with all Gibson acoustic guitars, glued with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable and fast-playing Slim Taper profile, while the rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and features simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays and 19 standard frets.


The closed rectangular rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle, while the nut and bridge pins are also made of TUSQ. The smooth-turning Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability. The L00 Special features a Satin Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and it also features an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze active piezo undersaddle pickup and a preamp with easy-access volume control in the soundhole, making it ready for stage and studio use out of the box. The guitar comes with a premium softshell case.

Die neue L00 Special wurde von Gibsons erfahrenen Gitarrenbauern in Bozeman, Montana, handwerklich gefertigt und bietet Spielern eine in den USA gebaute Gibson-Akustikgitarre zu einem sehr erschwinglichen Preis. Dieses Modell verfügt über einen Boden und Zargen aus massivem Mahagoni, während die Decke aus massiver Sitka-Fichte mit traditioneller, gewellter X-Verstrebung besteht. Dies sorgt für einen ausgewogenen Klang mit hervorragender Dynamik für eine kompakte Akustikgitarre. Sowohl die Ober- als auch die Rückseite sind mit einer einzelnen Einfassung an den Rändern versehen.


Dank der schmaleren Taille der L00-Korpusform liefert diese Gitarre einen fokussierten und nuancierten Klang mit einer strafferen und subtileren Basswiedergabe, die sich perfekt in den Mix einfügt. Der Sound ist ideal für Fingerstyle und Blues, funktioniert aber genauso gut für andere Genres und Spielstile. Der Mahagonihals wird mit einer zusammengesetzten Schwalbenschwanzverbindung befestigt und wie bei allen Gibson-Akustikgitarren mit Heißhautkleber verklebt. Der Hals hat ein komfortables und schnell spielbares Slim Taper-Profil, während das Palisandergriffbrett einen 12-Zoll-Radius hat und über einfache Perlmutt-Punkteinlagen und 19 Standardbünde verfügt.


Der geschlossene rechteckige Steg aus Palisander ist mit einem TUSQ-Sattel ausgestattet, während Sattel und Stegstifte ebenfalls aus TUSQ bestehen. Die sanft rotierenden Grover Mini Rotomatic-Mechaniken sorgen für eine solide Stimmstabilität. Die L00 Special verfügt über eine Nitrozelluloselackierung in Satin Vintage Sunburst und die Gitarre verfügt außerdem über eine L.R. Baggs Element Bronze aktiver Piezo-Untersattel-Tonabnehmer und ein Vorverstärker mit leicht zugänglichem Lautstärkeregler im Schallloch machen ihn bereit für den Bühnen- und Studioeinsatz. Die Gitarre wird mit einem hochwertigen Softshell-Koffer geliefert.
