De Martin Custom Shop D28 1937 biedt spelers de ongeëvenaarde klankkwaliteit van Martin's Authentic Series en de gebruiksvriendelijkheid van een werkpaard. De zeer gewaardeerde 1937-modellen van Martin worden beschouwd als de hoeksteen van prestaties en hebben de norm gezet voor generaties instrumenten die volgden. Deze gitaar beschikt over kenmerken zoals forward shifted X-bracing, hide glue en cloth strip constructie, en een verstelbare trussrod die liefhebbers de betrouwbaarheid biedt van een instrument dat goed af te stellen is.
De gitaar is opgebouwd uit een Indisch palissander klankkast met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad met een dikte van 2,8 millimeter of 0.110 inch. De mahonie hals heeft het bijzonder stevige Soft V-profiel dat ook op de reguliere Authentic modellen te vinden is, en dit geeft de gitaar een uniek speelgevoel. Een herringbone purfling zorgt samen met de Antique witte binding voor de versiering van de klankkast.
Deze Martin D28 werd gebouwd in 2021, en verkeert in excellente conditie. De gitaar heeft lichte speelsporen op het bovenblad, de body en de hals, met daarbij ook een ding op het bovenblad nabij de treblezijde van de brug. De lak op de achterzijde van de hals is door het bespelen glanzend geworden, en ook op de achterzijde van de klankkast zijn enkele kleine dings te vinden. De gitaar is over het geheel gezien echter wel zeer schoon en wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

This guitar boasts features such as forward-shifted X-bracing, hide glue and cloth strip construction, and an adjustable trussrod that offers enthusiasts the reliability of an instrument that is easy to adjust.
The guitar is constructed from an Indian rosewood soundboard with an Adirondack spruce top with a thickness of 2.8 millimetres or 0.110 inches. The mahogany neck has the particularly solid Soft V profile also found on the regular Authentic models, and this gives the guitar a unique playing feel. A herringbone purfling together with the Antique white binding provides the decoration of the soundbox.
This Martin D28 was built in 2021, and is in excellent condition. The guitar has light play marks on the top, body and neck, along with a ding on the top near the treble side of the bridge. The lacquer on the back of the neck has become shiny from playing, and there are also some minor dings on the back of the body. Overall, however, the guitar is very clean and comes with certificate of authenticity in a hardshell case from TKL.

Diese Martin D28 wurde 2021 gebaut und befindet sich in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Die Gitarre hat leichte Spielspuren auf der Decke, dem Korpus und dem Hals, sowie eine Delle auf der Decke in der Nähe der Diskantseite des Stegs. Der Lack auf der Rückseite des Halses ist vom Spielen glänzend geworden, und es gibt auch einige kleinere Dellen auf der Rückseite des Körpers. Insgesamt ist die Gitarre jedoch sehr sauber und kommt mit Echtheitszertifikat in einem Hartschalenkoffer von TKL.
