Martin 2-24 Brazilian Rosewood 1857

This is a rare piece of Martin history, and one in a beautiful condition at that! Martin's 24 style is among the earliest and this specific guitar dates from the 1850s.
This small-bodied guitar has been wonderfully restored by Roman Zajicek. You wouldn't say this guitar is over 160 years old because it looks really clean and it has been brought back to an excellent playability. And Roman's magic in restoring this 2-24 has resulted in an even more magical tone! The Brazilian rosewood back and sides deliver a deep and warm tone, while the spruce top makes sure it has a nice balance and clear highs.
And despite its small Parlor body, you'll be surprised by the tone that comes out of it. Especially playing it with a lighter touch is the most rewarding, it really shows it has a lot of life left in it!
What makes it even more special, is that it comes in the original coffin case. Even the original label, also indicating this is a 2-24, is still present on the inside of the case.
