Iris Guitars, based in Burlington, Vermont, was founded in 2018 under the auspices of Circle Strings. Iris works with a team of passionate guitar enthusiasts led by experienced luthiers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks to build modern guitars with vintage tone and looks.

De gitaren van Iris profiteren van de enorme kennis van de luthiers die gewerkt hebben aan de high-end instrumenten van onder andere Circle Strings, Froggy Bottom Guitars en Fairbanks Guitars, en hierdoor biedt Iris een onwaarschijnlijke prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. De gitaren voelen als een trouwe metgezel die je al jaren hebt bespeeld, en klinken dan ook werkelijk fabuleus.
De OG is originele model dat Iris Guitars op de kaart zette. De gitaar heeft een formaat dat doet denken aan de LG2 van Gibson. De OG biedt door zijn mahonie klankkast en Sitka sparren bovenblad een warme en droge sound, met een indrukwekkend middengebied. De gitaar is bij uitstek geschikt voor fingerstyle, maar klinkt ook prachtig wanneer er akkoorden wordt gestrumd.
Om het authentieke gevoel van de gitaren uit de glorietijd te versterken gaat Iris Guitars nog een stapje verder met een verouderde finish die de gitaren een ingespeeld gevoel geven. De prachtige Cremona Burst finish wordt daarbij ter decoratie vergezeld door een ivoroid binding en slagplaat. Al met al een fabuleuze gitaar in een zeer aantrekkelijke verpakking!
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

The OG is the original model that put Iris Guitars on the map. The guitar has a size that is reminiscent of the Gibson LG2. The OG offers a warm and dry sound with an impressive midrange thanks to its mahogany body and Sitka spruce top. The guitar is ideally suited for fingerstyle, but also sounds beautiful when strumming chords.
To enhance the authentic feel of the guitars from the glory days, Iris Guitars goes one step further with an aged finish that gives the guitars a played-in feel. The beautiful Cremona Burst finish is accompanied by an ivoroid binding and pickguard for decoration. All in all a fabulous guitar in a very attractive packaging!
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.

Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem TKL-Koffer geliefert.
