De Legacy 714ce is een eerbetoon aan Bob Taylors innovatieve geest en de Grand Auditorium bodyvorm die hij in 1994 introduceerde. Dit model heeft een unieke combinatie van klankhoutsoorten die je niet terugvindt in de standaard Taylor line-up: Indisch palissander achter- en zijkanten gecombineerd met een Western Red ceder bovenblad. The Legacy 714ce is a tribute to Bob Taylor's innovative spirit and the Grand Auditorium body shape he introduced in 1994. This model showcases a unique combination of tonewoods not found in Taylor's standard lineup: Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a Western Red cedar top. Voiced with the traditional X-bracing pattern used in the first Grand Auditorium guitars, it produces a warm, mellow tone with exceptional touch sensitivity while maintaining clarity in the treble range.
Visually, the Legacy 714ce embraces Bob's preference for a minimalist aesthetic, featuring black binding with black and white pinstripes, dot fretboard inlays in green abalone, a matching three-ring rosette, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, and gold tuning machines. The body has a glossy finish, while the neck is satin-finished for a smooth playing experience. This model is also equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
