Met zijn combinatie van een massief sparren bovenblad en een mahonie klankkast biedt deze vintage gitaar een heldere, volle klank met een prachtige resonantie die kenmerkend is voor kwaliteits 12-snarige instrumenten uit deze periode. De karakteristieke Guild sound met zijn gedetailleerde definitie in het hoog en warme, solide laag komt hier volledig tot zijn recht.
Deze F212 kenmerkt zich door zijn 3-delige hals van mahonie en esdoorn, wat niet alleen een esthetisch detail is maar ook zorgt voor extra stabiliteit - een belangrijke eigenschap voor een 12-snarige gitaar waar de spanningen aanzienlijk hoger zijn. De brede hals biedt voldoende ruimte om comfortabel over de palissander toets te navigeren, terwijl het C-profiel prettig in de hand ligt tijdens langere speelsessies.
Na ruim een halve eeuw verkeert deze Guild in goede conditie. De gitaar heeft diverse speelsporen en dings verzameld, en is daarom een echte player. Het brugzadel is aan de lage kant, maar de gitaar is momenteel goed bespeelbaar. Verder zien we op de brug één afwijkende brugpin, en de binding begint op de achterzijde van de body bij beide tailles los te laten. Dankzij het AER piezo-element is het ook mogelijk om de gitaar versterkt te laten klinken. Hij wordt geleverd in een hardshell case met TFOA paspoort - een waardevol instrument dat zowel de verzamelaar als de muzikant in vervoering zal brengen.

This F212 is characterized by its 3-piece neck of mahogany and maple, which is not only an aesthetic detail but also provides extra stability - an important feature for a 12-string guitar where the tensions are considerably higher. The wide neck offers enough space to comfortably navigate the rosewood fingerboard, while the C-profile fits comfortably in the hand during longer playing sessions.
After more than half a century, this Guild is in good condition. The guitar has collected various traces of play and dings, and is therefore a real player. The bridge saddle is on the low side, but the guitar is currently very playable. Furthermore, we see one deviating bridge pin on the bridge, and the binding is starting to come loose on the back of the body at both waists. Thanks to the AER piezo element, it is also possible to make the guitar sound amplified. It comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport - a valuable instrument that will delight both the collector and the musician.

Diese F212 verfügt über einen dreiteiligen Hals aus Mahagoni und Ahorn, der nicht nur ein ästhetisches Detail ist, sondern auch für zusätzliche Stabilität sorgt – ein wichtiges Merkmal für eine 12-saitige Gitarre, bei der die Spannungen erheblich höher sind. Der breite Hals bietet ausreichend Platz, um bequem auf dem Palisandergriffbrett zu navigieren, während das C-Profil bei längeren Spielsitzungen bequem in der Hand liegt.
Nach mehr als einem halben Jahrhundert ist diese Gilde in gutem Zustand. Die Gitarre hat diverse Spielspuren und Dellen abbekommen und ist somit ein echter Player. Der Stegsattel ist etwas niedrig, aber die Gitarre ist derzeit spielbar. Darüber hinaus sehen wir einen ungewöhnlichen Stegstift auf der Brücke und die Bindung beginnt sich auf der Rückseite des Korpus an beiden Taillen zu lösen. Dank des AER Piezo-Elements ist es zudem möglich, den Gitarrenklang zu verstärken. Die Lieferung erfolgt im Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass – ein wertvolles Instrument, das Sammler und Musiker gleichermaßen begeistert.
