De Songwriter werd geïntroduceerd in 2003 en combineert Gibson's aloude bracing-patronen uit de jaren '30 met de originele dreadnought-bodyvorm, met een superieure klankkwaliteit als resultaat. De combinatie van palissander zij- en achterkant levert een superieure klank op met uitstekende dynamiek en volume.
De Songwriter voegt daar ook nog een soepele bespeelbaarheid aan toe in de vorm van de Rounded c-vormige mahonie hals aangevuld met een palissander toets met compound radius. De gitaar is daarbij ook nog eens fraai afgewerkt met crèmekleurige bindingen, een abalone rozet en prachtige parelmoer toetsinleg. Een LR Baggs VTC pickupsysteem zorgt er tenslotte voor dat de gitaar goed tot zijn recht komt op het podium.
Deze Gibson is gebouwd in 2019, en verkeert nog nagenoeg in nieuwstaat. Op het bovenblad is nabij de armrest een ding te vinden, met daarbij minimale speelsporen op de achterzijde van de klankkast. Ook is het brugzadel vervangen, maar de gitaar is verder uitzonderlijk schoon. Wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in de originele Gibson-koffer.
Introduced in 2003, the Songwriter combines Gibson’s time-honored bracing patterns from the 1930s with the original dreadnought body shape, resulting in superior tone quality. The combination of rosewood back and sides delivers superior tone with excellent dynamics and volume.
The Songwriter also adds a smooth playability in the form of the Rounded C-shaped mahogany neck complemented by a compound radius rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is also beautifully finished with cream-colored bindings, an abalone rosette and beautiful mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays. Finally, an LR Baggs VTC pickup system ensures that the guitar comes into its own on stage.
This Gibson was built in 2019, and is still in near-mint condition. There is a ding on the top near the armrest, with minimal playwear on the back of the body. The bridge saddle has also been replaced, but the guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean. Comes with TFOA passport in original Gibson hardshell case.

Die Kombination aus Boden und Zargen aus Palisander liefert einen überragenden Klang mit hervorragender Dynamik und Lautstärke.
Der Songwriter bietet außerdem eine sanfte Spielbarkeit in Form des abgerundeten C-förmigen Mahagonihalses, der durch ein Palisandergriffbrett mit zusammengesetztem Radius ergänzt wird. Die Gitarre ist außerdem wunderschön mit cremefarbenen Bindungen, einer Abalone-Rosette und wunderschönen Griffbretteinlagen aus Perlmutt verarbeitet. Schließlich sorgt ein LR Baggs VTC-Tonabnehmersystem dafür, dass die Gitarre auf der Bühne voll zur Geltung kommt.
Diese Gibson wurde 2019 gebaut und befindet sich noch in nahezu neuwertigem Zustand. Auf der Oberseite in der Nähe der Armlehne befindet sich eine Delle, mit minimalen Spielspuren auf der Rückseite des Korpus. Der Stegsattel wurde ebenfalls ersetzt, aber die Gitarre ist ansonsten außergewöhnlich sauber. Wird mit TFOA-Pass im originalen Gibson-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
