De Gibson ES330 is niet het kleinere of goedkopere broertje van de ES335, maar werd bedoeld als de vervanger van de ES225T. In tegenstelling tot de ES225 heeft hij een double cutaway hollow body gemaakt van gelamineerd esdoorn. De mahonie hals ontmoet de body bij de 16e fret en is voorzien van een palissander toets met blok inleg. Terwijl de 330 akoestisch behoorlijk levendig klinkt, komt hij pas echt tot leven als je hem inplugt.
De officiële typenaam van deze ES330 vat de gitaar al kort samen; de toevoeging TDC staat voor Thinline Dual pickup Cherry, en onderscheidt dit model van de versies met een enkele pickup en Natural of Sunburst afwerking. De twee P90's zijn voorzien van een chromen cover zoals geïntroduceerd in 1965, en geven de gitaar zijn kenmerkende klank die hem zo geliefd maakt.
De mahonie hals is met een topkam van nog geen 40 mm relatief smal, en is voorzien van de kleine blokinleg die het model vanaf 1962 sierde. De gitaar beschikt op een vervangen topkam na over de originele hardware en elektronica, en heeft verder gezien zijn leeftijd lichte speelsporen en lichte craquelé. Deze vintage ES330 is desondanks uitzonderlijk schoon te noemen, en beschikt zonder meer over de uitstraling van een échte vintage Gibson!
The Gibson ES330 is not the smaller or cheaper brother of the ES335, but was intended as a replacement for the ES225T. Unlike the ES225, it has a double cutaway hollow body made of laminated maple. The mahogany neck meets the body at the 16th fret and is equipped with a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. While the 330 sounds quite lively acoustically, it really comes to life when you plug it in.
The official model name of this ES330 already sums it up; the addition TDC stands for Thinline Dual pickup Cherry, and distinguishes this model from the versions with a single pickup and Natural or Sunburst finish. The two P90s are equipped with a chrome cover as introduced in 1965, and give the guitar the characteristic sound that makes it so beloved.
The mahogany neck is relatively narrow with a top nut of less than 40 mm, and is equipped with the small block inlays that adorned the model from 1962 onwards. Apart from a replaced top nut, the guitar has the original hardware and electronics, and has light playwear and light crackle considering its age. This vintage ES330 can nevertheless be called exceptionally clean, and certainly has the appearance of a real vintage Gibson!

Der Mahagonihals ist mit einem Sattel von weniger als 40 mm relativ schmal und weist die kleine Blockeinlage auf, die das Modell ab 1962 zierte. Abgesehen von einem ersetzten Sattel verfügt die Gitarre über die Original-Hardware und -Elektronik und weist angesichts ihres Alters leichte Spielspuren und leichtes Knistern auf. Dieser Vintage-ES330 ist dennoch außergewöhnlich sauber und sieht auf jeden Fall wie eine echte Vintage-Gibson aus!
