De OCD heeft sinds de geboorte in 2004 veel kleine aanpassingen ondergaan, vaak ten onrechte geïdentificeerd als "versie 2, versie 3, versie 4." In werkelijkheid is er altijd maar één versie geweest…Â
Nieuw is de outputbuffer (wanneer het pedaal is ingeschakeld in True-Bypass-modus, of altijd in de Enhanced Bypass-modus), waardoor het niet wordt beïnvloed door effecten die erna komen. Je geluid blijft consistent, ongeacht de plaatsing in de complexere signaalketens, loopers en pedaalborden van vandaag.
Klasse A geconfigureerde discrete 2N5457 JFET-ingangssectie, waardoor de ingangsimpedantie wordt verhoogd tot 1 mega ohm (voorheen 330K) en de dynamiek toeneemt… wat resulteert in een aanzienlijk betere interactie met zowel enkele spoel als humbuckers.
Interne schakelaar om te kiezen tussen "Enhanced Bypass TM" en True-Bypass, en zonder poppend geluid in beide modi.
