Een van de vroegste versies van Fender's custom werk was de gitaar die bekend staat als de “Mary Kaye”. Deze gitaar, die een White Blonde afwerking combineert met gouden hardware, was te zien in verschillende advertenties en werd uiteindelijk een van de meest gewilde Stratocaster modellen. De Vintage Custom '57 Strat is jouw kans om te genieten van deze elegante gitaar die eruitziet, klinkt en aanvoelt alsof hij rechtstreeks uit de jaren 1950 komt.
Hij is afgewerkt in een prachtige verouderde blonde finish met Journeyman relic! Als een van de eerste Fender edities is deze Strat zorgvuldig verouderd om een niveau van gebruik en misbruik te simuleren zoals alleen de Custom Shop dat kan, nauwelijks te onderscheiden van een echt vintage instrument. De soft V maple hals is gebouwd door niemand minder dan John Cruz.
Naast de verouderde afwerking heeft deze 1998 Custom Shop zeer lichte sporen opgelopen, vooral op de slagplaat. Desondanks ziet hij er nog steeds erg netjes uit en is daarom nog steeds in uitstekende staat. De gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer met echtheidscertificaat. De originele brugkap en tremolo-arm worden ook meegeleverd.
One of the earliest versions of Fender's custom work was the guitar known as the "Mary Kaye." This guitar, which combines a White Blonde finish with gold hardware, was featured in various advertisements and eventually became one of the most sought-after Stratocaster models. It is finished in a beautiful aged blonde finish with Journeyman relic! As one of the first Fender editions, this Strat has been carefully aged to simulate a level of use and abuse as only the Custom Shop can, barely distinguishable from a real vintage instrument. The soft V maple neck was built by none other than John Cruz.
Besides its aged finish, this 1998 Custom Shop has suffered very light playing marks, especially on its pickguard. Nevertheless, it still looks extremely clean and is therefore still in excellent condition. The guitar comes in a case with certificate of authenticity. The original bridge cover and tremolo arm are also included.

Neben der gealterten Lackierung hat diese Custom Shop von 1998 sehr leichte Spielspuren, vor allem auf dem Schlagbrett. Nichtsdestotrotz sieht sie immer noch extrem sauber aus und ist daher immer noch in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Die Gitarre wird in einem Koffer mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert. Die originale Stegabdeckung und der Tremoloarm sind ebenfalls enthalten.
