When most people think of Fender they probably picture a Telecaster or Stratocaster, two iconic designs. Oddly enough, few people seem to recall Leo Fender's first electric guitar, the Esquire.

Misschien wel de zeldzaamste gitaar van Fender is het eerste model: de Esquire met één pick-up. Het allereerste elektrische solid-body gitaarmodel van Fender was minder dan een jaar op de markt, maar veranderde de gitaarmuziek voorgoed. Fender produceerde slechts een paar van deze gitaren voordat ze overschakelde op een essenhouten body en een blonde afwerking.
Deze reproductie blijft trouw aan het origineel en heeft een iets dunnere gelamineerde Pine body. De eendelige rift-sawn maple hals heeft een 1950 Esquire U-vormig profiel, geen truss rod, een 7,25"-9,5" vintage compound radius en 21 medium vintage frets. Met zijn NOS "flash coat" nitrocellulose lakafwerking en Closet Classic hardware lijkt de Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire op een goed verzorgd origineel, met slechts lichte veroudering op de metalen onderdelen.
Deze gitaar verliet oorspronkelijk de Fender Custom Shop fabriek met een single pick-up configuratie. De oorspronkelijke eigenaar gebruikte de 1950 Esquire Kit, geleverd door Fender, om hem om te bouwen naar zijn huidige twee single-coil setup. De gitaar wordt geleverd met alle originele onderdelen die nodig zijn om hem terug te zetten naar zijn originele Esquire vorm. Wordt geleverd met certificaat van echtheid in de originele Fender koffer.
Perhaps the rarest Fender guitar is its first model: the single-pickup pine-body Esquire. The very first Fender electric solid-body guitar model was on the market for less than a year, but it transformed guitar music forever. Fender produced only a few of these guitars before switching to an ash body and a blonde finish.
Staying true to the original, this faithful recreation features a slightly thinner laminated pine body. The one-piece rift-sawn maple neck boasts a 1950 Esquire U-shape profile, no truss rod, a 7.25"-9.5" vintage compound radius, and 21 medium vintage frets. With its NOS "flash coat" nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Closet Classic hardware, the Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire resembles a well-cared-for original, exhibiting only slight aging on its metal parts.
This guitar originally left the Fender Custom Shop factory with a single pickup configuration. The original owner used the 1950 Esquire Kit, provided by Fender, to convert it to its current two single-coil setup. The guitar comes with all the original parts needed to revert it back to its original Esquire form. Comes with certificate of authenticity in the original Fender case.

Diese Gitarre verließ das Fender Custom Shop Werk ursprünglich mit einer Single-Pickup-Konfiguration. Der ursprüngliche Besitzer benutzte das 1950 Esquire Kit, das von Fender zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, um sie auf das aktuelle Setup mit zwei Singlecoils umzubauen. Die Gitarre wird mit allen Originalteilen geliefert, die benötigt werden, um sie wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Esquire-Form zu bringen. Kommt mit Echtheitszertifikat im originalen Fender-Koffer.
