De E16SS nestelt zich tussen de E6SS, E10SS en E20SS, en is zo een prachtige aanvulling op het assortiment van Eastman. De heldere en gearticuleerde sound zal menigeen verbazen!
De gitaar is voorzien van specificaties die niet zouden misstaan op gitaren die vele malen duurder zijn. Zo beschikt de gitaar over een Adirondack sparren bovenblad dat de Thermo Cured-methode heeft gekregen. Dit houdt in dat het hout is blootgesteld aan hitte en druk voor het bouwen, waar het in dit proces een groot deel van zijn vocht al verliest. Het resultaat is een gitaar met een ingespeeld karakter en de gewilde klankkwaliteiten van een vintage instrument.
Het instrument beschikt verder over een klankkast uit prachtig esdoorn dat is voorzien van een tortoise binding en herringbone purfling. Dit laatste element is samen met de slagplaat en inleg op de toets afgeleid van de duurdere E20SS, en geeft de gitaar een prachtige uitstraling.
Deze Eastman is gebouwd in 2023, en heeft slechts minimale speelsporen. De ebben brugpinnen zijn vervangen, maar de gitaar is verder nauwelijks van een nieuwe gitaar te onderscheiden. Wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer.
The E16SS nestles between the E6SS, E10SS and E20SS, and is thus a wonderful addition to the Eastman range. The clear and articulate sound will surprise many!
The guitar is equipped with specifications that would not be out of place on guitars that are many times more expensive. For example, the guitar has an Adirondack spruce top that has been given the Thermo Cured method. This means that the wood is exposed to heat and pressure before building, where it already loses a large part of its moisture in this process. The result is a guitar with a played-in character and the sought-after tonal qualities of a vintage instrument.
The instrument also has a sound box made of beautiful maple that is provided with a tortoise binding and herringbone purfling. This last element, together with the pickguard and inlay on the fingerboard, is derived from the more expensive E20SS, and gives the guitar a beautiful appearance.
This Eastman was built in 2023, and has only minimal playwear. The ebony bridge pins have been replaced, but the guitar is otherwise almost indistinguishable from a new guitar. Comes with a certificate of authenticity in a hardshell case.
Die E16SS reiht sich zwischen die E6SS, E10SS und E20SS ein und ist somit eine wunderbare Ergänzung der Eastman-Reihe. Der klare und präzise Klang wird viele überraschen!
Die Gitarre verfügt über Spezifikationen, die auch bei deutlich teureren Gitarren nicht fehl am Platz wären. So hat sie beispielsweise eine Decke aus Adirondack-Fichte, die im Thermocured-Verfahren hergestellt wurde. Dabei wird das Holz vor dem Bau Hitze und Druck ausgesetzt, wodurch es bereits einen Großteil seiner Feuchtigkeit verliert. Das Ergebnis ist eine Gitarre mit eingespieltem Charakter und den begehrten Klangeigenschaften eines Vintage-Instruments.
Das Instrument verfügt außerdem über einen Resonanzkörper aus wunderschönem Ahorn mit Schildpatt-Binding und Fischgrät-Einlage. Dieses letzte Element, zusammen mit dem Schlagbrett und der Griffbretteinlage, stammt von der teureren E20SS und verleiht der Gitarre ein wunderschönes Aussehen.
Diese Eastman wurde 2023 gebaut und weist nur minimale Spielspuren auf. Die Stegstifte aus Ebenholz wurden ersetzt, ansonsten ist die Gitarre aber kaum von einer neuen Gitarre zu unterscheiden. Wird mit Echtheitszertifikat in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
