The E6 LGSS is the latest addition to Eastman's acoustic lineup. The model was developed in collaboration with LA Guitars, and was released in the context of their 20th anniversary. We can only say that Eastman has once again created a hell of a guitar!

Zoals de naam al suggereert is deze compacte Eastman gebaseerd op de LG2 van Gibson, en Eastman heeft deze tijdloze klassieker in een modern jasje gestoken. De doorgewinterde Eastman-fan zal zich dit model nog kunnen herinneren als de E5SS, maar voor deze nieuwe uitgave heeft Eastman gebruik gemaakt van zijn moderne technieken zoals een Thermo Cured Sitka sparren bovenblad en een prachtige Truetone Gloss Sunburst finish.
Verder heeft de gitaar een mahonie body die iets minder diep en breed is dan zijn inspiratiebron, maar de gitaar is door zijn scalloped X-bracing een zeer responsief instrument dat met zijn mooie gebalanceerde sound perfect geschikt is voor fingerstyle. Ook qua uiterlijk vertoon gooit de LGSS hoge ogen, want de body wordt gesierd door een ivoroid binding en een firestripe slagplaat. De afwerking en bespeelbaarheid zijn zoals je van Eastman mag verwachten ook nog eens onberispelijk!
De gitaar wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer.
As the name suggests, this compact Eastman is based on Gibson's LG2, and Eastman has given this timeless classic a modern twist. The seasoned Eastman fan will remember this model as the E5SS, but for this new edition Eastman has used its modern techniques such as a Thermo Cured Sitka spruce top and a beautiful Truetone Gloss Sunburst finish.
Furthermore, the guitar has a mahogany body that is slightly less deep and wide than its source of inspiration, but the guitar is a very responsive instrument due to its scalloped X-bracing, which is perfectly suited for fingerstyle with its beautifully balanced sound. The LGSS also scores high in terms of appearance, because the body is adorned with an ivoroid binding and a firestripe pickguard. The finish and playability are, as you would expect from Eastman, also impeccable!
The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity in a hardshell case.
Wie der Name schon sagt, basiert diese kompakte Eastman auf der Gibson LG2, und Eastman hat diesem zeitlosen Klassiker einen modernen Touch verliehen. Erfahrene Eastman-Fans werden sich an dieses Modell als E5SS erinnern, doch für diese Neuauflage hat Eastman moderne Techniken wie eine thermogehärtete Sitka-Fichtendecke und ein wunderschönes Truetone Gloss Sunburst-Finish verwendet.
Die Gitarre verfügt über einen Mahagonikorpus, der etwas weniger tief und breit ist als ihr Vorbild. Dank ihres Scalloped X-Bracings ist die Gitarre jedoch ein sehr reaktionsschnelles Instrument, das sich mit seinem wunderbar ausgewogenen Klang perfekt für Fingerstyle eignet. Auch optisch punktet die LGSS mit einem Ivoroid-Binding und einem Firestripe-Schlagbrett. Auch das Finish und die Spielbarkeit sind, wie man es von Eastman gewohnt ist, einwandfrei!
Die Gitarre wird mit einem Echtheitszertifikat in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
