Het merk uit Austin, Texas, die zich al meerdere malen heeft bewezen als meester gitaarbouwer op bijna elk vlak. Uitzonderlijke flattops, geweldige mandolines en uitzinnige elektrische gitaren, wat voortkomt uit liefde, passie en vakmanschap.
Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody is een van deze instrumenten en eerlijk gezegd leken de standaard van Collings zijn I35's al uitzonderlijk, totdat we de eerste mock-ups van deze LC Vintage te zien kregen.
Voor de I35 LC Vintage is daadwerkelijk alles opnieuw ontworpen en vanaf de grond opgebouwd. Vanaf de constructie van het gelamineerde esdoorn, het nieuwe centerblock en de hals waarbij rekening gehouden is met de nerf, gewicht en dichtheid. Dat is hoe ver Collings gaat voor zijn instrumenten!
De diepe, resonante, akoestische klank wordt tot leven gebracht door de Custom Throbak pickups en DiMarzio 500k potmeters met Bumblebee condensatoren waardoor hij nog veelzijdiger wordt! Hoewel hij er dus uit ziet als een wel beproefde vintage Semi-Hollow, onthult deze Collings bij nadere beschouwing dat zijn kracht zelfs nog veel verder reikt dan alleen zijn uiterlijk! Hij wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met TFOA-paspoort.

Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody is one of these instruments, and honestly, Collings' standard I35 models already seemed exceptional until we saw the first mock-ups of the LC Vintage.
For the I35 LC Vintage, everything has been completely redesigned and built from the ground up. From the construction of the laminated maple, the new center block, to the neck, where the grain, weight, and density were all meticulously considered. This is how far Collings goes for their instruments!
The deep, resonant, acoustic tone is brought to life by the Custom Throbak pickups and DiMarzio 500k pots with Bumblebee capacitors, making it even more versatile! Though it may look like a well-worn vintage Semi-Hollow at first glance, a closer inspection reveals that this Collings' true strength goes far beyond its appearance! It comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.

Die Marke aus Austin, Texas, hat sich immer wieder als Meister im Gitarrenbau in nahezu jedem Bereich bewiesen. Außergewöhnliche Flattops, herausragende Mandolinen und bemerkenswerte E-Gitarren, die alle aus Liebe, Leidenschaft und handwerklichem Können entstehen.
Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody ist eines dieser Instrumente, und ehrlich gesagt schienen die Standardmodelle der I35 von Collings bereits außergewöhnlich, bis wir die ersten Entwürfe dieser LC Vintage sahen.
Für die I35 LC Vintage wurde alles komplett neu gestaltet und von Grund auf neu aufgebaut. Von der Konstruktion des laminierten Ahorns, dem neuen Centerblock, bis hin zum Hals, wobei die Maserung, das Gewicht und die Dichte sorgfältig berücksichtigt wurden. So weit geht Collings für seine Instrumente!
Der tiefe, resonante, akustische Klang wird durch die Custom Throbak Pickups und DiMarzio 500k Potis mit Bumblebee-Kondensatoren zum Leben erweckt, was sie noch vielseitiger macht! Auch wenn sie auf den ersten Blick wie eine gut abgenutzte Vintage Semi-Hollow aussieht, offenbart diese Collings bei näherer Betrachtung, dass ihre wahre Stärke weit über ihr Äußeres hinausgeht! Sie wird in einem Hardshell-Koffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
