Eind jaren 1950 werden er slechts twee originele SJ200 gitaren exclusief voor Johnny Cash gemaakt, en nu heeft Gibson voor het eerst deze legendarische instrumenten nagemaakt. De Johnny Cash SJ200 heeft een prachtige AAA gevlamde esdoorn body, gecombineerd met Gibson's traditionele hand scalloped X-bracing.
