Chris Larkin Reacter B4 Custom Fretless Bass Wenge Santos Mahogany 1987

Chris Larkin bouwde vanaf de jaren '80 diverse hoogwaardige modellen basgitaren, alle met een unieke vormgeving en prachtige details. De Reacter werd in de tweede helft van het decennium geïntroduceerd en was zijn meest succesvolle model, dat opviel door zijn relatief kleine bodyvorm met hoog speelcomfort. Zeker een bijzondere basgitaar die je niet al te vaak tegen zult komen!

Deze fretless Reacter B4 heeft een Santos mahonie body die wordt gesierd door een wenge bovenblad, en de bas beschikt over een prachtig glanzende laklaag. De armrest is comfortabel afgerond, terwijl de diepe cutaways de volledige toets bereikbaar maken. De mahonie hals heeft een mensuur van 864 mm en is voorzien van een ebben toets. Hardware van Schaller zorgt ervoor dat de bas soepel bespeelbaar en stabiel gestemd blijft.

De bas werd gebouwd in 1987, en ziet er nog meer dan voortreffelijk uit voor zijn leeftijd. Met enkele dings en lichte speelsporen op de body, het bovenblad en hals verkeert deze Reacter nog in excellente conditie. De bas wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.

This fretless Reacter B4 has a Santos mahogany body adorned by a wenge top, and the bass features a beautifully glossy lacquer finish. The armrest is comfortably rounded, while deep cutaways make the full fingerboard accessible. The mahogany neck has a scale of 864 mm and features an ebony fingerboard. Hardware by Schaller ensures the bass remains smooth to play and stable in tune.


Built in 1987, the bass still looks more than excellent for its age. With some dings and light play marks on the body, top and neck, this Reacter is still in excellent condition. The bass comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.



Chris Larkin baute ab den 1980er Jahren mehrere hochwertige Bassgitarrenmodelle, alle mit einzigartigem Design und schönen Details. Der in der zweiten Hälfte des Jahrzehnts eingeführte Reacter war sein erfolgreichstes Modell, das sich durch eine relativ kleine Korpusform mit hohem Spielkomfort auszeichnete. Definitiv eine besondere Bassgitarre, die man nicht allzu oft zu Gesicht bekommt!


Dieser bundlose Reacter B4 hat einen Santos-Mahagoni-Korpus, der von einer Wenge-Decke geziert wird, und der Bass ist mit einer schönen, glänzenden Lackierung versehen. Die Armauflage ist angenehm abgerundet, während tiefe Cutaways das gesamte Griffbrett zugänglich machen. Der Mahagoni-Hals hat eine Mensur von 864 mm und ist mit einem Ebenholz-Griffbrett ausgestattet. Hardware von Schaller sorgt dafür, dass der Bass leichtgängig und stimmstabil bleibt.


Der Bass wurde 1987 gebaut und sieht für sein Alter immer noch mehr als gut aus. Mit einigen Dellen und leichten Spielspuren auf dem Korpus, der Decke und dem Hals ist dieser Reacter immer noch in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Der Bass wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
