The pickups are capable of an ultra-high-output, powerful low-end response, while maintaining a distinctive clean, bright tone and definition at lower volume levels. The Stingray HT (Heat Treated) bridge pickup uses patent-pending thermally treated pole pieces with a large ceramic magnet and a wound coil that gives the pickup higher harmonics and excellent touch sensitivity.
The custom-wound neck humbucker also has a large ceramic magnet and is specially wound to match the Stingray's HT bridge pickup. In addition, the electronics include a push-push adjustable 20dB boost function and a transparent buffered output for full tonal consistency, no matter where your volume control is set.
This Stingray HT features a stoptail Tune-o-Matic bridge, setting it apart from Stingray's with vintage-style tremolo, but shares a number of standard specifications, including a contoured body, a toasted maple neck, 22 stainless steel frets and Schaller locking tuners.
