Waar Atkin al geruime tijd bewijst dat het merk als geen ander een gitaar kan bouwen, is het aging-proces misschien wel het meest indrukwekkende aspect van Atkin Guitars.

De Essential D biedt 100% Atkin-toon; uitgekleed tot de essentie! Elke Essential D heeft een Sitka-sparren bovenblad en is verstevigd met pre-war scalloped bracing, die allemaal worden 'gebakken' in Atkin's werkplaats. Mahonie achter- en zijkanten worden gecomplementeerd door een lichtgewicht mahonie hals met een ebbenhouten toets; net als enkele van de beste Pre-War gitaren. Dit is een beproefde combinatie, extreem populair bij songwriters, en een werkpaard dat nooit verveelt!
Deze Atkin Essential D heeft een ding op het bovenblad en is daardoor nu een B-Stock. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL

The Essential D offers 100% Atkin tone; stripped down to the bare essentials! Each Essential D has a Sitka spruce top and is reinforced with pre-war scalloped bracing, all of which is 'baked' in Atkin's workshop. Mahogany back and sides are complemented by a lightweight mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard; just like some of the best Pre-War guitars. This is a tried and tested combination, extremely popular with songwriters, and a workhorse that never gets boring!
This Atkin Essential D has a ding on the top and is therefore now a B-Stock. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.

Mahagoni-Boden und -Zargen werden durch einen leichten Mahagoni-Hals mit einem Griffbrett aus Ebenholz ergänzt; genau wie bei einigen der besten Vorkriegsgitarren. Dies ist eine bewährte Kombination, die bei Songwritern äußerst beliebt ist, und ein Arbeitstier, das nie langweilig wird!
Diese Atkin Essential D hat eine Delle auf der Oberseite und ist daher jetzt eine B-Ware. Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
