Martin D28 Authentic 1937 VTS 2022
De meest gewilde vintage D28's zijn exemplaren uit 1937 met forward shifted, hand scalloped X-bracing, een Adirondack sparren bovenblad en zo'n 1.75 inch breedte bij de topkam. Het Martin Authentic-assortiment eert deze iconische vintage instrumenten door ze opnieuw te creëren. Om zo dicht mogelijk bij het geluid van Braziliaans palissander te komen, heeft Martin gekozen voor Guatemalteeks palissander dat erg lijkt op het felbegeerde Braziliaanse palissander.
Daarnaast is ook het VTS Vintage Tone-systeem van Martin toegepast op zowel het Adirondack sparren bovenblad en de bracing. Het Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) maakt gebruik van een uniek recept dat is gebaseerd op het historische torrefactie-systeem. Dit VTS systeem gedraagt zich heel erg als een tijdmachine waarmee Martin het klankhout versneld kan laten "verouderen".
Dankzij VTS kan Martin niet alleen de aangename visuele esthetiek van een vintage gitaar, maar ook de speciale vintage klank reproduceren die normaliter alleen voorbehouden is aan "echte" vintage instrumenten.
Deze Martin is gebouwd in 2022, en verkeert met lichte speelsporen op de slagplaat en achterzijde van de body nog nagenoeg in nieuwstaat. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.
The most sought-after vintage D28s are 1937 models with forward shifted, hand scalloped X-bracing, an Adirondack spruce top and a 1.75 inch width at the nut. The Martin Authentic line honors these iconic vintage instruments by recreating them. To get as close to the sound of Brazilian rosewood as possible, Martin chose Guatemalan rosewood that closely resembles the coveted Brazilian rosewood.
Martin also uses the VTS Vintage Tone system on both the Adirondack spruce top and bracing. The Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) uses a unique recipe based on the historic torrefaction system. This VTS system acts very much like a time machine that allows Martin to "age" the tonewood at an accelerated rate.
Thanks to VTS, Martin can not only reproduce the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar, but also the special vintage sound that is normally reserved for "real" vintage instruments.
This Martin was built in 2022, and with light play marks on the pickguard and back of the body, is still in almost new condition. The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.

Die Martin Authentic-Linie würdigt diese kultigen Vintage-Instrumente, indem sie sie nachbildet. Um dem Klang von brasilianischem Palisander so nahe wie möglich zu kommen, wählte Martin Palisander aus Guatemala, der dem begehrten brasilianischen Palisander sehr ähnelt.
Martin verwendet außerdem das VTS Vintage Tone-System sowohl für die Adirondack-Fichtendecke als auch für die Verstrebung. Das Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) verwendet ein einzigartiges Rezept, das auf dem historischen Torrefizierungssystem basiert. Dieses VTS-System funktioniert wie eine Zeitmaschine, die es Martin ermöglicht, das Tonholz schneller „altern“ zu lassen.
Dank VTS kann Martin nicht nur die ansprechende Optik einer Vintage-Gitarre reproduzieren, sondern auch den besonderen Vintage-Sound, der normalerweise „echten“ Vintage-Instrumenten vorbehalten ist.
Diese Martin wurde 2022 gebaut und ist mit leichten Spielspuren am Schlagbrett und der Korpusrückseite noch in nahezu neuwertigem Zustand. Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
