The 'F' model is what you can call the Lowden Auditorium model with a sound box that is only slightly wider and deeper compared to an Orchestra model. Great for fingerstyle, with good balance, but also very powerful and strong enough for rhythm playing.

George Lowden en de zijnen hebben hun plaats wel verdiend met hun gitaren die wonderschoon klinken. Vaak wordt de toon vergeleken met de helderheid en puurheid van een goede piano. De walnoot/ceder combinatie en George Lowden hebben een lange geschiedenis en ze lijken ontzettend goed bij elkaar te passen. Velen beschouwen dit als de perfecte houtcombinatie voor DADGAD en andere drop-stemmingen.
Zoals elke Lowden perfect afgewerkt tot in het laatste detail met fraaie houtdetails zoals de inleg en bindingen. Door het kleinere formaat vergeleken met het O-model is de F wat directer, maar dat doet niets af aan de indrukwekkende helderheid en complexiteit van het geluid. De piano-achtige dynamiek gecombineerd met het typische Keltische karakter zorgen ervoor dat de Lowden-gitaren zich onderscheiden van de rest. De respons en de attack zijn direct, diep, donker maar vullen de ruimte ook met helderheid en indrukwekkende boventonen.
Deze Lowden F23 uit 2018 verkeert in excellente conditie. De gitaar heeft slechts minimale speelsporen op de slagplaat, met daarbij ook lichte speelsporen op de achterzijde van de klankkast en de hals. Over het geheel gezien is de gitaar bijzonder schoon en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in de originele koffer van Hiscox.
George Lowden and his have earned their place with their guitars that sound wonderful. Their tone is often compared to the clarity and purity of a good piano. The walnut/cedar combination and George Lowden have a long history and they seem to fit together incredibly well. Many consider this to be the perfect wood combination for DADGAD and other drop tunings.
Like any Lowden, perfectly finished to the last detail with beautiful wood details like the inlays and bindings. Due to its smaller size compared to the O model, the F is a bit more direct, but that does not detract from the impressive clarity and complexity of the sound. The piano-like dynamics combined with the typical Celtic character make Lowden guitars stand out from the rest. The response and attack are direct, deep, dark but also fill the room with clarity and impressive overtones.
This 2018 Lowden F23 is in excellent condition. The guitar has only minimal play marks on the pickguard, along with light play marks on the back of the soundbox and neck. Overall, the guitar is extremely clean and comes with TFOA passport in the original Hiscox hardshell case.
George Lowden und die Seinen haben sich ihren Platz mit ihren wunderbar klingenden Gitarren verdient. Ihr Ton wird oft mit der Klarheit und Reinheit eines guten Klaviers verglichen. Die Kombination aus Walnuss und Zeder und George Lowden haben eine lange Geschichte und sie scheinen unglaublich gut zusammen zu passen. Viele halten dies für die perfekte Holzkombination für DADGAD und andere Drop Tunings.
Wie jede Lowden ist sie bis ins kleinste Detail perfekt verarbeitet, mit schönen Holzdetails wie Einlagen und Bindings. Aufgrund ihrer geringeren Größe im Vergleich zum O-Modell ist die F etwas direkter, aber das tut der beeindruckenden Klarheit und Komplexität des Klangs keinen Abbruch. Die klavierähnliche Dynamik in Kombination mit dem typisch keltischen Charakter hebt Lowden-Gitarren von anderen ab. Die Ansprache und der Attack sind direkt, tief und dunkel, füllen aber auch den Raum mit Klarheit und beeindruckenden Obertönen.
Diese 2018er Lowden F23 ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Gitarre hat nur minimale Spielspuren auf dem Schlagbrett, zusammen mit leichten Spielspuren auf der Rückseite des Resonanzkörpers und des Halses. Insgesamt ist die Gitarre extrem sauber und wird mit TFOA-Pass im Original-Hartschalenkoffer von Hiscox geliefert.
