De Gibson SG is al sinds zijn introductie een gevestigde naam in de gitaarwereld. Met zijn radicale design en soepele bespeelbaarheid was de gitaar zijn tijd ver vooruit, maar de High Performance doet hier met zijn moderne aanpassingen zelfs nog een schepje bovenop!
Zo is de hals van deze SG voorzien van een Slim Taper-profiel en een comfortabel afgeronde Fast Access-hiel. Het automatische G-Force systeem zorgt voor ultiem gemak bij het stemmen, terwijl de bedieningsknoppen, schakelaar, pickupringen, topkam en trussrod-cover futuristisch ogen. De mahonie body en hals zijn een knipoog naar het traditionele model waarmee het allemaal begon.
Deze Gibson SG High Performance uit 2017 heeft slechts uiterst lichte speelsporen op de body, maar is zeer schoon. De strap buttons van de gitaar zijn vervangen door straplocks, maar de gitaar is verder origineel in nagenoeg in nieuwe conditie. Wordt geleverd in een aluminium koffer van Gibson.
