Deze gitaar is een exacte replica van de legendarische D28 uit 1937, compleet met de Forward Shifted scalloped X-bracing van Adirondack-sparrenhout en een bovenblad van hetzelfde kostbare materiaal. De achterzijde en zijkanten van Braziliaans palissander worden omlijst door 'Bold Herringbone' purfling en 'Grained Ivoroid' binding, wat het authentieke pre-oorlogse uiterlijk perfect weergeeft. De fossielen ivoren topkam en zadel, samen met de prachtige 'Diamonds and Squares' inleg van abalone op de ebben toets, maken het beeld compleet.

This guitar is an exact replica of the legendary 1937 D28, complete with the Forward Shifted scalloped X-bracing of Adirondack spruce and a top of the same precious material. The Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are framed by 'Bold Herringbone' purfling and 'Grained Ivoroid' binding, which perfectly captures the authentic pre-war appearance. The fossilized ivory nut and saddle, along with the beautiful 'Diamonds and Squares' abalone inlay on the ebony fingerboard, complete the picture.

Diese Gitarre ist eine exakte Nachbildung der legendären D28 von 1937, komplett mit der nach vorne verschobenen, gewellten X-Verstrebung aus Adirondack-Fichte und einer Decke aus demselben edlen Material. Boden und Zargen aus Rio-Palisander werden von einer kräftigen Fischgräten-Einlage und einem Binding aus gemasertem Ivoroid eingerahmt, die den authentischen Vorkriegs-Look perfekt einfangen. Sattel und Steg aus versteinertem Elfenbein sowie die wunderschöne Abalone-Intarsie im „Diamonds and Squares“-Stil auf dem Ebenholzgriffbrett runden das Gesamtbild ab.
Der Klang dieser D28 Authentic ist geradezu majestätisch, mit einer vollen, kraftvollen Projektion, die typisch für die Dreadnoughts der Vorkriegszeit ist.
