Toen de Flying V in 1958 debuteerde, was hij zijn tijd ver vooruit; negen jaar vooruit, om precies te zijn. De populaire vraag hielp Gibson's beslissing om hem in 1967 opnieuw te introduceren, dit keer met een strakke nieuwe look en een Vibrola-staartstuk. Built in 2022, the guitar is still in near-new condition. There are minimal play marks on the pickguard, and a small imperfection in the lacquer on the headstock. The guitar is otherwise very clean and comes with certificate of authenticity in a Gibson hardshell case.
