Who doesn't have this record in his or her collection? In 2022 and 2023, Ed Struijlaart paid tribute to the best-selling live album of all time: Eric Clapton's Unplugged. On Sunday 2 November, Ed comes to our theatre to relive the magic of this record once again. Before the concert, Ed will give a unique workshop in which he will give you the tips and tricks that make Clapton's guitar playing so legendary.

Unplugged Guitar Workshop
This interactive workshop offers a unique opportunity to discover Clapton's timeless acoustic style. From soulful blues riffs to the most beautiful ballads, think ‘Layla’ and ‘Tears in Heaven’, dive into the legendary sounds. And learn how to integrate Clapton's artistry into your own playing.
Bring your own guitar, and discover your inner ‘Slowhand’!

It became the most legendary MTV Unplugged session ever! It was then the oxygen my guitar flame needed. After hearing the iconic intro to ‘Layla’, I knew for sure: I'm a guitar man.’
Acoustic Concert
Even if you don't play guitar yourself, you can come and enjoy the beauty of Clapton's Unplugged. After the workshop, Ed will give a concert where the iconic songs from the Unplugged record will of course all pass by.
Just like the legendary MTV Unplugged recording, you can experience this music in an intimate, personal setting. Thanks to Ed's renditions, the guitar flame is sure to awaken in our theatre this afternoon.
