Rocking ornate features such as premium tonewoods and hand-inlaid pearls. Nothing will make a jaw drop and show you've "arrived" more than a D-45!
Now, just in time for the 2018 NAMM show, John Mayer can add himself to that very list. This modern day legend is getting his signature D-45 model. Crafted with Guatemalan Rosewood back and sides and an Engelmann spruce top with aging toner and forward shifted Adirondack X braces, this tonal masterpiece was designed by John Mayer and created by the master craftspeople in the Martin Custom Shop.
Rocking a full thickness neck inlaid with hexagon pearls, just like John likes it. Bone nut and saddle and gold open gear tuners, the D-45 John Mayer also features an interior label personally signed by the 7 time Grammy Award winning artist!
This guitar is going to drop sometime later this year, around a price-point of about €12.500,-. We are expecting more news to come from Martin, especially around the NAMM show. If anything might pop up, we will keep you updated!
