Vanwege een wijde, maar slanke esdoorn hals met een palissander toets en de karakteristieke "Birds" inlay voelt de Custom 24 als een klassieke PRS gitaar aan.
De pickups bestaan uit één paar 85/15 "S" humbuckers. Samen met de Volume Control, Push-Pull Tone Control en 3-Way Blade Pickup Switch klinkt hij verfijnd, maar is dominant wanneer het moet. Dat is in lijn met de Custom 24 serie. Inclusief gewatteerde PRS gigbag.Â
