De omwonden snaren zijn vervaardigd van vernikkeld staal gewikkeld rond een zeshoekige stalen kern. De niet omwonden snaren zijn gemaakt van speciaal gehard vertind koolstofstaal. Samen leveren ze een gebalanceerd, warm en helder geluid, geschikt voor vele muzieksoorten.Â
Deze snaren lopen van 0.011 (Hoge E) naar 0.048 (Lage E), vergelijkbaar met een normaal setje 0.011 snaren waarbij de lage E dunner uitvalt (En daardoor ook de aflopende snaren).Â
De Slinky elektrische snaren zijn gemaakt met de fijnste en zuiverste grondstoffen. Alle Ernie Ball snaren zijn verpakt in een hermetisch afgesloten verpakking om ervoor te zorgen dat de snaren net zo vers blijven als de dag dat ze gemaakt werden.
