De 814ce van Taylor is een bijzonder veelzijdige gitaar, die door zijn Grand Auditorium-bodyvorm heerlijk comfortabel is om te bespelen. De gitaar is uitgevoerd met de klassieke combinatie van Indisch palissander en Sitka sparren, en heeft daardoor een warme, volle sound die zich voor allerlei muziekgenres en speelstijlen leent.

De mahonie hals heeft een comfortabel soft V-profiel en is voorzien van een ebben toets waarop de voor de 800-serie typische parelmoeren Element inleg te vinden is. Zowel de body als de hals zijn afgewerkt met een binding van gevlamd esdoorn, en op de headstock prijkt een palissander kopplaat. Het bovenblad wordt ondersteun door een X-bracing, en is verder voorzien van een tortoise slagplaat.
Deze Taylor 814ce uit 2013 verkeert in excellente conditie. De gitaar heeft lichte speelsporen op de slagplaat, en op het bovenblad en de klankkast zijn enkele zeer kleine dings te vinden. Verder is het Expression System-pickupsysteem vervangen door een piezo-pickup, en zijn ook de stemmechanieken vervangen. De gitaar is verder bijzonder schoon en zeer goed onderhouden, en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in de originele Taylor-koffer.

Both the body and the neck are finished with a flamed maple binding, and a rosewood headstock is featured on the headstock. The top is supported by an X-bracing, and is also equipped with a tortoise pickguard.
This Taylor 814ce from 2013 is in excellent condition. The guitar has light playwear on the pickguard, and there are a few very small dings on the top and the sound box. Furthermore, the Expression System pickup system has been replaced by a piezo pickup, and the tuners have also been replaced. The guitar is also exceptionally clean and very well maintained, and comes with a TFOA passport in the original Taylor harshell case.

Sowohl der Korpus als auch der Hals sind mit einem Binding aus geflammtem Ahorn versehen, und auf der Kopfplatte befindet sich eine Kopfplatte aus Palisander. Die Decke wird von einem X-Bracing gestützt und ist außerdem mit einem Schlagbrett in Schildpatt ausgestattet.
Diese Taylor 814ce aus dem Jahr 2013 befindet sich in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Die Gitarre weist leichte Spielspuren am Schlagbrett auf, und es gibt ein paar sehr kleine Dellen auf der Decke und dem Resonanzkörper. Des Weiteren wurde das Tonabnehmersystem Expression System durch einen Piezo-Tonabnehmer ersetzt, und die Stimmgeräte wurden ebenfalls ausgetauscht. Die Gitarre ist außerdem außergewöhnlich sauber und sehr gut gepflegt und wird mit einem TFOA-Pass im originalen Taylor-Harshell-Koffer geliefert.
