Roger Sadowsky's goal has always been to further improve an already very successful bass design by making some detailed improvements.
Together with the electronics he developed himself, he succeeded in taking the well-known PJ bass sound to a new level, so that today you can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: never loud or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy basses, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy high end.
All the features of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-Fret Hybrid PJ basses of the MetroExpress series. Overall, a good choice for bassists looking for a lightweight on-stage solution in addition to a modern bass sound.
