The Nucleo is the love child of Paul Davids and Emilio Mazari, the founder of Cornerstone.
It all started with Paul Davids trip to a nuclear power plant, in order to find the most insanely beautiful reverb in the world.
Being there he got inspired by the sound of the power plant with all its unique reflections.

At the same time Emilio was researching the possibility to create an ambient reverb.
He saw Paul's video and reached out to him if he wanted to capture the sounds that Paul found in the Nuclear plant, in a signature pedal.
From there on they spend a lot of time, sweat and grey hairs on getting all the complex and intricate sounds of those reverbs, within a pedal.
The Nucleo is a digital reverb pedal with 3 presets, namely a room, hall and ofcourse 'the Reactor', of which the intensity can be controlled with the Blend knob.
There are three intuitive sliders which you can control the modulation of the reverb, 'air' (a shimmer function), and 'flux', which introduces weirdly beautiful random sounds to the reverb, giving you the ambiance of being in a real reactor.
Engaging the second footswitch freezes the signal, allowing you to play over your own sound scapes, but with a effected signal. There is even a latch function that allows for smooth chord changes.
The three other potentiometers control the decay and the tone of the reverb, and the pitch of the frozen signal.
Every knob controls a second parameter which can be accessed very intuitively via the switch.
Other functionalities include full midi control, audio interface, stereo ins and out, making this a more than complete pedal.
