Collings' Ziel bei der Entwicklung der I30 LC bestand darin, auf dem Konzept einer Hollowbody-Gitarre mit doppelten Cutaways und P90-Tonabnehmern aufzubauen, jedoch jeden Aspekt zu verfeinern, um ein einzigartiges, völlig neues Spielerlebnis zu schaffen. Das Ergebnis ist eine der akustisch ansprechendsten und vielseitigsten E-Gitarren, die Collings je gebaut hat!

Jet Black Aged is een geweldige kleurkeuze om te pronken met de fijne details, en in combinatie met de hardware valt deze gitaar echt op! De boven- en achterkant zijn op maat gelamineerd en 'voiced' voor een tonaliteit die qua resonantie en dynamische respons lijkt op een akoestische gitaar, maar gefocust en feedbackbestendig genoeg om te worden gebruikt in jazz, blues, rock-'n-roll en vele andere stijlen.
De lichte klankkast heeft 'trestle' bracing, is tot stand gekomen na uitgebreide R&D en opgedane kennis van de populaire I35 en Statesman LC gitaren. De "non-grained" ivoroid bindingen van de body en hals complementeren het gevlamde esdoorn op bijzonder fraaie wijze. De Lollar Dog Ear P90's zijn perfect afgestemd op de akoestische respons van het instrument en bieden een breed palet aan tonen, van rijke jazzy warmte tot de British Invasion-stijl uit de jaren '60.

Jet Black Aged is a great color choice to show off the fine details, and when combined with the hardware, this guitar really stands out! The top and back are custom laminated and voiced for a tonality that is resonant and dynamically responsive to an acoustic guitar, but focused and feedback-resistant enough to be used in jazz, blues, rock and roll, and many other styles.
The lightweight body features trestle bracing, developed after extensive R&D and knowledge gained from the popular I35 and Statesman LC guitars. The non-grained ivoroid bindings on the body and neck complement the flamed maple in a particularly beautiful way. The Lollar Dog Ear P90s are perfectly matched to the acoustic response of the instrument and offer a wide palette of tones, from rich jazzy warmth to the British Invasion style of the '60s.

Die „non-grained“ Ivoroid Bindings an Korpus und Hals ergänzen das geflammte Ahornholz auf besonders schöne Weise. Die Lollar Dog Ear P90s sind perfekt auf die akustische Reaktion des Instruments abgestimmt und bieten eine breite Palette an Tönen, von satter, jazziger Wärme bis hin zum Stil der British Invasion der 60er Jahre.
