Martin Custom Shop 0042 Guatemalan Rosewood Torrefied Adirondack 2015

De combinatie van Guatemalan palissander voor de klankkast en getorreficeerd Adirondack sparren voor het bovenblad resulteert in een uitzonderlijk rijk klankpalet met indrukwekkende dynamiek. Het getorreficeerde Adirondack bovenblad, dat een speciale verhittingsbehandeling heeft ondergaan, biedt de resonantie en respons van decennia oud klankhout, met een warmte en openheid die normaal gesproken alleen bij vintage instrumenten te vinden is.

De met de hand gesneden scalloped X-bracing ondersteunt het bovenblad optimaal, waardoor elke nuance in je spel wordt vertaald naar een kristalheldere en gedefinieerde toon. De esthetische details van deze 0042 zijn even indrukwekkend als zijn klank. De "grained ivoroid" binding, herringbone purfling en de meerlijnige abalone rozet zijn tijdloze Martin-kenmerken die de status van dit instrument benadrukken. De mahonie hals met een comfortabel V-profiel ligt natuurlijk in de hand, terwijl de ruime topkambreedte van zo'n 45mm ideale ruimte biedt voor complexe fingerstyle-technieken. De 632mm mensuur zorgt voor een comfortabele spanning op de snaren en verleent de gitaar een speelse en responsieve touch. De ebben toets heeft een 16" radius en is versierd met prachtige abalone inlays, terwijl de palissander overlay op de headstock de visuele harmonie perfect afrondt.

Deze Custom Shop 0042 verkeert in excellente conditie, en heeft slechts minimale speelsporen. Wel is de binding nabij de topkam en in de taille aan de baszijde opnieuw gelijmd, maar het is het benadrukken waard dat de gitaar bijzonder schoon is! Voor versterkte optredens is deze gitaar uitgerust met een K&K Pure Mini pickup, die de natuurlijke akoestische eigenschappen van het instrument trouw weergeeft.

De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

The combination of Guatemalan rosewood for the back and sides and torrefied Adirondack spruce for the top results in an exceptionally rich tonal palette with impressive dynamics. The torrefied Adirondack top, which has undergone a special heat treatment, offers the resonance and response of decades-old tonewoods, with a warmth and openness normally found only in vintage instruments.


The hand-carved scalloped X-bracing optimally supports the top, so that every nuance of your playing is translated into a crystal clear and defined tone. The aesthetic details of this 0042 are as impressive as its sound. The "grained ivoroid" binding, herringbone purfling and the multi-line abalone rosette are timeless Martin features that underline the status of this instrument. The mahogany neck with a comfortable V-profile fits naturally in the hand, while the generous nut width of approximately 45 mm offers ideal space for complex fingerstyle techniques. The 632mm scale length provides a comfortable tension on the strings and gives the guitar a playful and responsive touch. The ebony fingerboard has a 16" radius and is decorated with beautiful abalone inlays, while the rosewood overlay on the headstock perfectly completes the visual harmony.


This Custom Shop 0042 is in excellent condition, and has only minimal playwear. The binding near the top nut and in the waist on the bass side has been re-glued, but it is worth emphasizing that the guitar is exceptionally clean! For amplified performances, this guitar is equipped with a K&K Pure Mini pickup, which faithfully reproduces the natural acoustic properties of the instrument.


The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.

Die Kombination aus guatemaltekischem Palisander für Boden und Zargen und gerösteter Adirondack-Fichte für die Decke ergibt eine außergewöhnlich reiche Klangpalette mit beeindruckender Dynamik. Die geröstete Adirondack-Decke, die einer speziellen Wärmebehandlung unterzogen wurde, bietet die Resonanz und Reaktion jahrzehntealter Tonhölzer, mit einer Wärme und Offenheit, die normalerweise nur bei Vintage-Instrumenten zu finden ist.


Die handgeschnitzte, scalloped X-Bracing stützt die Decke optimal, sodass jede Nuance Ihres Spiels in einen kristallklaren und definierten Ton umgesetzt wird. Die ästhetischen Details dieser 0042 sind ebenso beeindruckend wie ihr Klang. Die „grained ivoroid“-Bindung, die Fischgrät-Einlage und die mehrzeilige Abalone-Rosette sind zeitlose Martin-Merkmale, die den Status dieses Instruments unterstreichen. Der Mahagonihals mit komfortablem V-Profil liegt natürlich in der Hand, während die großzügige Sattelbreite von ca. 45 mm idealen Platz für komplexe Fingerstyle-Techniken bietet. Die Mensur von 632 mm sorgt für eine angenehme Saitenspannung und verleiht der Gitarre ein verspieltes und reaktionsfreudiges Spielgefühl. Das Griffbrett aus Ebenholz hat einen Radius von 16 Zoll und ist mit wunderschönen Abalone-Intarsien verziert, während die Palisanderauflage auf der Kopfplatte die optische Harmonie perfekt abrundet.


Diese Custom Shop 0042 ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und weist nur minimale Spielspuren auf. Die Bindung in der Nähe des Sattels und in der Taille auf der Bassseite wurde neu geklebt, aber es lohnt sich zu betonen, dass die Gitarre außergewöhnlich sauber ist! Für verstärkte Auftritte ist diese Gitarre mit einem K&K Pure Mini-Tonabnehmer ausgestattet, der die natürlichen akustischen Eigenschaften des Instruments originalgetreu wiedergibt.


Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
