Jellinghaus Master Built Bavaria 1A Spruce Rosewood B-Stock

This Master Built Bavaria 1A pays tribute to Hermann Hauser I, the legendary Bavarian guitar maker whose work inspired Andrés Segovia for many years. This instrument is entirely handmade, featuring a Swiss Moon Spruce top and a solid Indian Rosewood body, finished with French Polish.

A defining feature of this Bavaria 1A is its 7-bar fan bracing, the same construction used by Hauser and Torres to give their guitars a clear and balanced tone. The Swiss Moon Spruce top provides a lively, resonant response, while the Indian Rosewood body adds warm low end and rich overtones.

The cedar neck with carbon reinforcement remains stable and feels light in the hand, while the ebony fingerboard provides a smooth playing experience. The thin French Polish finish, applied using shellac, allows the wood to vibrate freely, contributing to the instrument's open and direct tone.

This Jellinghaus Master Built is offered as B-Stock due to two finish imperfections. Some moisture beneath the finish is visible on the headstock, as well as on the bass-side of the guitar's body. Comes with a case.
