These solid woods are meticulously hand-carved, just like the legendary originals of the early 1920s, to produce the best tone and volume possible in a new instrument.
In addition to its superb playability and beautiful tone, the crowning glory of the new KM1500’s elegance is perhaps the traditional abalone Vine inlay, carefully inlaid just below the white pearl Kentucky logo on the headstock. Kentucky’s craftsmanship is further demonstrated in the beautiful finishing of the details such as the ivoroid bindings, complemented by the gold-tone hardware.
This 2022 Kentucky KM1500 has only suffered light playwear, but the mandolin is certainly in excellent condition. Comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
